Junior SUPERTOAD Tournament 2002!

Your dream is to win the Junior Super Toad Selection Tournament! Grow a super tadpole to become a super toad!

All mouse controls!

How to:

Go to the river and catch a tadpole egg (the button on the left with the egg). Lower the trap into the water by clicking anywhere. When the egg floats over the trap, click on it. The egg will float to the bottom of the screen, indicating it's collected.

You can catch up to three eggs, which will be distributed among three jars. If you don't feed the tadpole or the egg and go to sleep, it will die!

Go to the resource collection screen (the button on the left with the plant and stone). There, collect resources by clicking. Resources are refreshed every day.

Give resources to the tadpole at your discretion.

Participate in the races. We tap along the shore, indicating where the tadpole should swim.

Some non-obvious points:

A tadpole takes damage when colliding at high speed.

Resources don't count as food! If you don't feed a tadpole or an egg and go to sleep, it will die!

For the resource effects to take effect, you need to sleep.

After losing the race, the tadpole disappears.

All code was written independently within the jam, with the exception of the initial template and a couple of modules.

All art was created independently within the jam.

Music was written independently. Sounds are 50/50, some from FreeSound.
